This is an interesting move. This issue of the FCC selling off my (an your -- if you are an American tax-payer or citizen) property instead of leasing it or using it wisely to benefit humankind irritates me generally. In this move, it is possible that a blow might be struck for transparency in media. You know, that "common carrier" idea of the media "tubes" or "pipes," where the method by which media information and content is brought from its creator to its user is not held by a conglomerate that produces media content?

I have to study the proposal, and I suggest you do the same. How this chunk of bandwidth is allocated will have an impact on all of us.
