Iverson Takes to the Airwaves

On Sunday evening, I had the opportunity to be a panelist on Bruce DuMont's Beyond the Beltway talkshow. The two-hour program airs on radio and TV, though only the first hour is televised.

Here is the video from my appearance. The other guests were Christine Dudley, a conservative, and Aviva Patt, formerly Ex. Director of IVI-IPO and a liberal. Audio of the whole program (2 hours) will be available at http://www.beyondthebeltway.com/btbarchives2007.html
soon, if it is not uploaded already.

Bruce DuMont is very good at what he does. He kept the discussion going and he has an encyclopedic knowledge of politics. I enjoyed our discussion as you can probably see. We touched on the move to early primaries, Fred Thompson's presumed entry into the Republican fray, and how blogging and Internet are influencing the political process. I was very pleased that the URL of my community/citizen journalism news website was broadcast. I would love to get more political talk going in that community. I hope I am invited back sometime.

The coolest factoid about the show is that "in February, 2000, Beyond the Beltway with Bruce DuMont
reached cultural icon status when the program was the question to a Jeopardy©
answer!"
