Is your PC blog yours alone?
I have been out of town and not checking email and internet as is my usual habit. This kind of took me by surprise. I hadn't heard about this kindo of attack, but the fact that they are sending out 4-6% of the world's spam each day is both scary and impressive. I guess it might be good to check one's PC for this kind of infection when this type of story comes out. My Mac now runs Windows, so I guess I could be a target, too.
Security experts estimate that the group can send out so much junk mail because they have hijacked so many Windows PCs via successive campaigns. Some suspect that the group has infected more than one million PCs over the last eight months.
