Marshall McLuhan's Theme Song

Oh my lord, this song by Canada's Vestibles draws on Marshal Dillon of Gunsmoke but mashes up McLuhan's media theory and the taming of intellectual chaos. It is all about the guy's theory and if my young students don't think it is funny, I will make them rent "Have Gun-- Will Travel" or "Gunsmoke" on Netflix.

To my eternal chagrin, Leo Strauss the "Quiet American" mentor to the intellectually infantile neo-cons would drop everything to watch "Gunsmoke." Think about our actions toward Iraq under Pres. Bush and his administration, and you can see a good TV series gone bad because it was taken literally...
