PRNewswire Panel on May 8, 2007: Links and Stuff
In past years when PR Newswire and the Chicago Headline Club have talked about blogging, we wondered what, if any, effect it was having on mainstream media. Now there is no longer any doubt. For example, when the Sun-Times re-launched their Web site, they changed the role of several regular columnists and emphasized blogging over column inches. The Tribune has increased their roster of bloggers, and they have launched "The Swamp" to feed DC news to Midwestern readers.
Join us as we discuss coming trends in journalism with two independent bloggers and a freelance journalist and teacher.
